Right now,have a two story so have stairs that I hate---live on 2 1/2 acres of unruly blackberrys and huge trees that is beyond my ability to keep up, no storage to speak of, but do have a 5 car garage!!!! Well its not mine but is the hubs----so my ideal house would be NO STAIRS, modern, bright, with high efficient appliances and all mechanical things as well. Am tired of having to work so hard for this house, I want it to work for me. We are planning to sell next month so not sure what direction we will go

An updated or newer ranch, with no basement or attic and defined rooms, no open concept.

@Lilysmom1 --No not building. Do not want another mortgage and all of the stuff that comes with a house--DD and I are moving to a place together while the hubs will be on his own---thanks for the wishes

My dream home would be a one-story Craftsman-style. I'd love all the appropriate woodwork and built-ins, too. I'd want open-concept kitchen/living/dining. Around 2,000 sq. ft. would be good. 3/4 bedrooms (1 for an office), his/her bathrooms in the master, with a closet big enough for both of us. 

The biggest thing for me would be no steps or stairs anywhere--even to enter the house.

Also, no tile, carpet or hardwood anywhere....LVP flooring throughout!
