Re: INTERIOR DESIGNER SUZANNE KASLER

@Mindy D ...  I LOVE it all except for screaming kitchen ...  to come from all those peaceful serene rooms to the kitchen just slaps you in the face !!  Otherwise I love everything ...  colors, moulding, drapery, etc. ...  my favorite is Candace Olson ...  âť¤ď¸Ź

Very familiar with her exceptional talent.

Although, I'd use different colors, this is my favorite of those posted.

Beautiful!  As much as I love blue, the kitchen is a bit much for me.  Love the first library pictured.

Re: INTERIOR DESIGNER SUZANNE KASLER

One of my favorites. Kasler's rooms almost always shine. They tend to be classic, (even when they incorporate a more contemporary vibe, though she seems to lean more traditional), are rarely trendy, and are beautifully appointed without ever being over the top or screaming 'look at me'. She's done several coffee table books that are well worth perusing.

@Mindy D,  what a good, detailed analysis!  Agree with all your points.

@spiderw,  thank you for answering my question about 'large art' in the bedroom.  Yes, a landscape or seascape would be just the ticket.  I have a vintage, oval print in a gilt frame of a French "riverscape" in mine, but it's not large.  I get a tranquil feeling from it though...

Re: INTERIOR DESIGNER SUZANNE KASLER

@Oznell  WIth respect to your question, I don't have an issue with significant or substantial art in a bedroom. I think we can all decide what we find restful or otherwise appropriate in our bedrooms and don't personally find art I'd choose for my bedroom to be a distraction from rest. I do not, however, care for a television, computer or phone in my bedroom. I've capitulated on the phone, purely as a matter of practicality.

Re: INTERIOR DESIGNER SUZANNE KASLER

Hey, thanks also @stevieb ,  for answering my question.  I too enjoy art in my room, and as long as it's something I love, it's integral and not a distraction.  Good point about the banishment of electronics!

Re: INTERIOR DESIGNER SUZANNE KASLER

Most of her rooms are too formal and elegant for my lifestyle, but they are pretty. I definitely like the lighter feel of the rooms with pale colors. Those staircases are gorgeous!

Here are my favorite rooms:

I love everything in this space except the chandelier.

I like the furniture and doors to the outside. Not loving the tables. There's that chandelier again.

I like the bookshelves, windows, and sofa. I would switch out the coffee table, chair, and ceiling light.

Re: INTERIOR DESIGNER SUZANNE KASLER

I find something appealing in each room but the blue kitchen.
The art work works in this room..
They are all beautiful rooms and manage to look comfortable all at the same time! Now that can be hard to do but she manages very well. 👍
