The sofa is tan with turquoise pillows. I will add my red pillows with turquoise in the mix to go with my red chairs. It is a flexsteel and the pillows are short leg. Here is the picture.

I got the sofa in a lighter tan that the picture shown. I also got this lamp, which I just love. Happy Mothers Day to me.

Beautiful pieces! Can you say where you bought them? Turquoise and red will be gorgeous with the neutral sofa. I would love to see a photo when you finish styling the room. What style are your red chairs?

Very pretty, moxie. We have the same Flexsteel sofa in our family room, just a different fabric. We also asked for an upgrade on the cushions to make the more supportive. I keep a sheet over it at all times because the dog has claimed it as his. LOL

My son and I were out shopping on Saturday. He's moving to his own place at the end of the month so he ordered a new mattress set and rocker-recliner. We're giving him our LR sofa. We rarely use our LR so I'm going to take my time deciding on what I want to do in there. We definitely need to replace the carpeting, but I DO NOT look forward to what's involved there (emptying the cabinets and dealing with all the dishes/serving pieces). Still, it needs to get done. June is already filled up with weekends away, replacing carpet and redecorating the bedroom our son is vacating, and a big landscaping project. More stuff on the calendar for July and August. We might not get to the LR/DR until the fall, but that doesn't bother me.

This is the style of the two chairs I purchased with ottomans. My chairs are red though.

Flexsteel is a great, durable line.

I have a chair that has lasted forever...at least 20 years and it looks like new!

I have all ready ordered a turquoise and red quilt to cover it until company comes over.

I am redoing my den as well. I will move the old sofa in there temporarily but will purchase a sleeper chair from Flexsteel to replace it. I sat on one yesterday and not only is it comfortable the mattress is one of those foam ones and so the bed is very comfortable. But money and time is a consideration and I like to pay cash so some projects will have to wait another month or so before I order. I will get it in red.

My next project is to paint the great room and kitchen a creamy white and the entry way wall red and the fireplace wall turquoise. All my friends and family roll their eyes at the concept but I like color. At least I am not painting all the space red and turquoise. LOL

I am hoping to get this done by the end of the summer and then I will proceed with the kitchen and the rest of the house next year.

So pretty. Hope you have many relaxing hours on the sofa. I especially love the lamp. I'm on a bird kick this year. I have birds/bird nests all over my house. And I've been taking pics of birds with my camera. I guess I'm just happy the difficult winter is history. Glorious springtime.

Very nice. The sofa looks very comfy, and I particularly like the lamp with the bird motif on its base. I need a new sofa SO badly, as our cat has clawed the stuffing out of ours; however, I'm worried that he'll do the same to a new one. The price of having pets.

I just got a new dishwasher from Lowes. New chest of drawers from Nebraska Furniture Mart. Mart is just up the street 5 miles from our house. Warren Buffet owns it. We have gotten all of our furniture from there. Very good prices.
