@Kachina624 ...the rag rug would not work but the piece that lays accross the end of a bed would be ok.

@Mom2Dogs  Look on Amazon for a "sofa pad". Several option come up. You can measure your sofa and order accordingly.  There are many that just fit the seat of the sofa and a little hangs over the front edge. There's no tucking, there's non-skid backing to help it stay in place.
