Not often enough to post the answer here.

I use dawn dish soap and very hot water to wash them then hot vinegar water and a microfiber cloth to rinse them. Vinegar just makes windows shine. here in the camper we have 14 windows and a sliding door. I just washed them this week. At home it is a grand total of 6 windows - though they are very large windows - and a complete wall of sliding doors in the back. I find sprays to clean the windows tend to streak them more than soapy water wash and vinegar rinse.

I use liquid dis soap mixed with water, apply with a paper towel, then dry with a paper towel, no rinsing required, clean and no streaks.

Not as often as I would like to. Maybe twice a year except for the sliders in the family room and kitchen because of dog slop. We have slowly been replacing our original windows with the tilt outs and they are easy, but I broke my shoulder a few years ago and it's never been the same. I know I will suffer the next day. One year we hired someone to clean our gutters and do the windows inside and out. I find the house looks much cleaner when the windows are clean.

Inside? Whenever they need it.
Outside? Never. I live on the 10th floor of a highrise and don't have a long ladder.

How about a trampoline on the ground and some really great jumping to reach those outsides? LOL

My windows are so dirty. So are the screens. I keep putting it off because I plan to get new windows. These windows are double paned, and condensation and dirty have gotten in between, so there's only so much that will help.
A rep. called the other day from a window washing company and offered a pretty good deal. I should have taken him up on it. From the sound of things here, tilt in are the way to go.
