Most of our windows come apart (the inside glass can be removed, the grids pop out, then the interiors can be washed too). What a job!! I only do a thorough washing this way twice a year. Several times a year I wash the exteriors from the outside of the house on the ones on the first floor and tilt in to wash the second floor windows.

Thanks to you who suggested using Dawn! I normally use vinegar water mix (our windows are treated with a UV protective tint that can't take normal glass cleaner) but they still streak too much for my liking! And also for the Rain-X suggestion!
