What is that word that starts with a c??
Seriously I don't really know. I don't clean everything at once or even one room completely. I will do the shower stall and sink then another time the floor and toilet. The same in all the rooms - vacuum a good bit but hate to dust so a little dust never killed anyone! Each room done a small bit at a time. I don't care if everything is in perfect order and with no clutter on tables, etc. I clean up spills and things as they happen and the kitchen counter several times a day due to use and the floor when it needs it. Now that I'm older it just isn't important to waste my time obsessing about cleaning.

2 hours every two weeks when the cleaning ladies come. Between their visits I do minor straightening up, etc. on a daily basis but nothing else. We have a 2800 sq ft single story house, 3 bdrm, 3 bath.

My sentiments exactly!
Since I retired 5 years ago, I have been determined to live my life as stress free as possible, which includes not obsessing about cleaning my house. A family of 4 lives here comfortably, and we are happy here, which is exactly what I want anyone to see as soon as they step inside my home.

Our home is a 2 story, but it is small, and since both my husband and I are neat freaks, we keep our home up every day....Yesterday after church I ran the vacuum and dusted, Saturday I did laundry. So we really don't make too much of a mess, and everything has to be in its place. I never go to bed with a messy house. We both still work full time, so we tend to do our house in small increments...

It's hard to say because i do a little cleaning every day. I "swiffer" the hardwood every day, I vacuum the entryway every couple days (im in Minnesota so salt and sand from the garage) I wipe down the bathroom counter every day after i get ready. I wipe down the kitchen countertops every night after dinner. I just do little touch ups here and there. I find it much easier to do if I keep it up, thats what works for me.

We pretty much do the same thing/ I think that’s why it doesn’t take long to clean. Our old house the upstairs didn’t get cleaned everyday but living in a ranch it’s much easier.

I clean each day but could never do my entire home in one day. Sometimes I just vacuum, sometimes it's cleaning sinks and floors... just depends but vacuuming is what I do the most often. It never ends.
