I just gave away Pfaltzgraffs 'Winterberry' set of twelve with many accessories to a gal who didn't have matching or seasonal dishes. I have plenty of dishes and I've gotta say, I would still like more. I'm thinking of another two patterns to add to my personal dish museum.

Thanks for sharing everyone...so enjoyable to read all the posts
My most recent find/purchase/addition to our dinnerware is Bonjour Sierra Pine. It mixes and matches so well with most of my other new dinnerware. Here's a pic:

The dinner plates look awesome with these salad plates we have on top:

AND, ALL of the Better Homes & Gardens salad plates...
It's amazing what a terrific green hue this set is...goes well with so many other designs/dinnerware...and nearly as versatile as white or ivory! IT is a VERY inexpensive set I purchased through Walmart dot com. The individual 4-pc sets of just the dinner plates are also at a 'rollback' price of $17.97 now too

Your living space sounds warm and inviting!

While doing some purging/decluttering yesterday, I got rid of all of our placemats I have collected over the years and bought a few sets of these rattan chargers from World Market...
I can't wait to get them!!!

Hi Susan Louise, I'm really loving the Bonjour Sierra Pine plates. I have recently become very fond of a lot of the shades of green.
I did get the BH& Gardens large platter at Walmart and have it displayed on an easel in our dining room. Wanted the set of eight salad plates our WM's didn't get them in and I went online too late.
I'm glad you've found some pretty new dishes.
I haven't been on here much lately so I'm behind in knowing what's going on with everyone.

I shall not discuss my first dishes from 1964 - although now that I think of them they were Mikasa, white with a double square pattern around the trim in blue and avocado - enough said.
Now the whole ballgame has changed - I have - my mother's full set of Haviland china, white with a gold rose pattern and my set of Rosenthal, also with a gold rose in the center - beautiful, dressy and used for special times.
Everyday - Mikasa yellow full set - Nikko Provencal almost full set with flowered border, and I just completed a Royal Doulton set by Gordon Ramsay in aqua - LOVE IT! They are being shipped as I write! LOL! Sadly I will have to get rid of the NIKKO and get some more space in my cabinets. Do not ask me why I need so many dishes - children not living here any more - hubby and I retired in a fabulous community and we don't need to entertain - go figure - but I still like to surround myself with pretty things and update my lifestyle - Good idea even when you're 71!
