@CelticCrafter.  Do you suppose there is a full moon?  After reading several of today's posts I seriously wonder.

This is the first post I've read so I wouldn't know but your question made me curious so I looked it up. The next full moon is Feb 27th if I'm reading it correctly and this one is referred to as the "Snow Moon" since typically there's a lot of snow in February. Is that true? It's not something we're familiar with here in SoCal.

Unfortunately March's full moon is know as the Worm Moon. I intentionally decided not to read why that is. Happily, April's full moon is called the Pink Moon...much better!

As for the topic at hand I'm not sure why this thread was started but Reever did ask "Are you surprised" and after QVC sent me an email (due to viewing the product) I decided to watch the presentation and, yes, I actually was surprised that Harry, himself, did not seem to know the difference between a macaron and a macaroon. I guess there's a good reason he's known as "the nose" and not "the baker." Maybe he should have settled for Key Lime cookie instead. Smiley Very Happy

Regardless, I love Harry's products! Smiley Happy

The owner of the company himself pronounced it "macaroon" which implies the name of the scent on the bottle is spelled wrong.  I emailed QVC about the fauxpaux but have not heard back yet. I suspect it is an imported item. I don't believe macron was the intended name.

The owner and CEO needs to be better versed in the product.  Is it a macaroon or  a macaron ?  I also expect QVC quality control to be spot on with the xs and os of a product. Even Kirsten called it a macaroon despite the signage on the bottle.

I can't help but chuckle. Life is too short to worry about something so trivial.
