Holiday Home Down South...

[ Edited ]

Love the house, just not a fan of all that blue...

I moved from Los Angeles to Charleston South Carolina and amazed at beautiful the Christmas decorations are.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

Simple and pretty outside decor.  Love the turquoise furniture.  This is a good example of less being more.  Very tasteful.

Beautiful except for that ivory cart next to the sofa.

I love the blue.  The lamp is gorgeous.

Re: Holiday Home Down South...

Cut that picture of the front of the house in half and it looks like mine in Savannah, GA, LOL!

Except ours is brick and only 4 columns in front, but we decorate the outside the same way.

Lit garland around the front door and lit wreaths on all the windows, with red bows.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Re: Holiday Home Down South...

I'd like to see larger wreaths on the windows. They look lost on this large house.  The window on the left needs a wreath, too.

The outdoor furniture, to me, looks too summery with Christmas decorations.

I might add two lighted trees or other decor one both sides of the door.  This is a long porch that needs something.

I also think garland wrapped around the pillars would finish the project nicely.

The house is too large for minimal decorations.

Not liking the LR decor or Christmas decorations.  IMO, this is a great house with beautiful architecture where interior and exterior decor is not enhancing its beauty.

The outdoor furniture with that aqua blue needs to be removed and the house would be perfect.  I don't care for the inside at all.

@Katcat1  @Foxxee  I couldn't agree more that the outdoor cushions  and pillows need a seasonal update... I get it that wherever this house is located pretty obviously has warm weather all year, but all that blue outdoors hardly seems to fit with the wreaths and garlands...

There are a few more pictures of the interior and pool or guest house, I'll post later, for anyone interested...
