I might use the blue to help move away a bit from the brown & black.
Didn’t you mention that you might purchase valances for your windows? You would want to consider the colors in them if you did.
Otherwise, I would go with the blue.

@Sooner ...Keep talking!...lol...I am beginning to see your vision and I like it!....Wallpaper is being given a bum rap these days by many, including myself, and I agree that it has never gone out of style...The wallpaper that many are relating to is no longer...There is now removable wallpaper!...Here is just one example of a wallpaper that I found online that could work lovely in the OP's room....staying with these colors coordinating with her blue and brown chairs...She could go with a darker blue background color if she wishes...I do like the color and design on this....so many to choose from!
As you have also mentioned in your posts, it would add some depth, perspective and interest...From what I can see from the pictures posted, the whole area entering into this room is quite neutral, so I think the wallpaper would definitely create a lovely visual effect as one entered into the eating area which is small and cozy and a perfect size to create this effect!
Love reading everyone's decorating ideas!

I love this kitchen set. I have been looking for the exact thing for my kitchen but every one I find is not pure white and has a distressed look that I don’t like.
This is beautiful and will go with many colors and styles for your kitchen.

I agree with the added glass piece on the table top. Some window repair businesses also make the glass table tops and mirrors custom. I've had it done for a coffee table so I was able to get a heavier glass and bevel eddging. It's a bit safer for kids, dogs and life if you bump into it. If that is not an option then I might consider putting an area rug (Royal Palace) under the table but large enough for the chair space. This will will make the table space fill that area of the room. The other thought I had was to add a small buffet,r teat cart/bar, or side table.(I would do glass because it fills out the space but does not add bulk). Check the Pier 1 website because I find all my accent furniture pieces there. My last idea are pedastals flanking the room. I love statues but vases or candles work as weel.
Hope one of these ideas work for you. Love your colors and floor choice!

@Somertime wrote:@Beautiful life Your table is fine and the correct size, it is the chairs that are too high and too heavy looking and the wrong proportions.. Here is my suggestion, replace the chairs. Ballard Designs has these chairs that I think would work nicely for you. They are called Constance Dining Chairs are are on sale $269.25 for 2. They come in white. I have included photos of them around a 48" round dining table, so you can see what they look like.
These are considered a Bentwood chair and I am sure that you can find them easily and for less money somewhere else if you like the look.
@SomertimeThis is the cutest nook area ever! I am stealing the idea...![]()
@Beautiful life I would get the brighter colored chairs since you can exchange.
