I haven't been impulse buying for a very long time until lately. I think it must be a stress thing, LOL. I need more Lock n Lock like I need a hole in my head but I have two orders of L&L Tritan refrigerator sets on its way. I guess I thought it was a good deal and my refrigerator will miraculously be orderly with all of those containers lined up full of what I have no idea.
Yesterday I impulse ordered the ITKWD chicken wings. Then I read the reviews. Then I canceled that order being so happy I at least took the time to check out the product after the fact. Some people were happy with it but too many were not.

@Free2be - If it helps at all, I have three sets of the standard version of those refrigerator Lock & Locks, and I wouldn't be without them! I'm not positive whether the measurements of the Tritan pieces are exactly the same as the regular ones, but I use the small and medium ones for storing my freshly shredded cheeses and carrots and occasionally other vegetables in the fridge (I have a very odd layout, so these long, narrow containers are perfect). I use the biggest one for sandwich buns, and the container sits nicely atop my bread box. I also use all of the sizes for pasta, crackers, and snacks in my cabinets.
After I bought the first set and put it to work, I quickly came back for a second set because I could see how versatile the size was for my needs. It just so happened that the set had become a One Day Only value, but during the presentation, they quickly sold out of the color I wanted and the backup color I would've taken, so I chose a color I didn't really love, figuring it wouldn't matter. Fortunately, I was looking into purchasing another item a few hours later, and I discovered that some of the colors had magically reappeared after the day ended, so I picked up a third set and tried—unsuccessfully, of course—to cancel my earlier order. When that "extra" set came, I thought I'd likely give it away, but I've kept all nine pieces in use fairly consistently ever since.
I hope your purchase turns out well for you! ![]()

@Annabellethecat66 wrote:So do you guys remember the other day I told you I bought that trash can? Well, I did. So my friend was over (she's the one who sets up all of these gadgets I buy and can't read the directions). Well, she helped me figure out where to put the thing (in the kitchen)...duh!
Remember, I told you how for years I've always used a clothes hamper (which is very large). I love that thing but my son-in-law always teased me about it.
Well, now in this kitchen (which has so much errrrr...'stuff' in it) has the hamper trash can, a plastic bag hanging for recycling stuff and ...ta da...the new trash can. Well, you should see me trying not to walk past to set the lid off (remember...it opens automatically). I've scooched (that word is misspelled...I know it)....I've done everything but get on my hands and knees not to set it off...but it STILL goes up (the lid I mean).
I bought stainless steel because I figured I'd give it to my daughter....and (wait for it), I think I'm going to give it to her because the thing is driving me crazy!
It's stupid (and big) to send back. I need to come up with an explanation (to her) on why I'm not keeping it...I don't lie, so I'm going to have to skirt around the truth....stay tuned.....
LOL! I saw this presented on David's show awhile back and was thinking I'd like to have it...then I read the reviews on the lid going up constantly as you walk by and it saved me from having a return. Where I put my can is close to sink and fridge (there is no where else it can go and be useful to us) so it would be going up constantly as I clean or make a sandwich or get water!
If your daughter has a better set up in her kitchen for it then it's a nice gift idea so don't feel to bad...the sensor on that can is designed wrong and if it were on top of the can it might not do this. Reviews have helped me NOT to buy for sure...I keep item in my cart and read them then google for item and read those and compare price and so on!

I shop a lot, but I'm very good about returning an item if it wasn't what I expected, decided I really don't need it, etc. I think QVC and HSN are the only places I have to pay to do returns. Cutting back on both of those channels. Now that "they are one" as some people say, HSN never has the free shipping like they did before. I have always purchased more at QVC. Shipping and cost of returns sends me to shop elsewhere.
