Watching ITKWD today and Joe C came on with V36110 -set of 40. (Microfibre cleaning cloths which I love & use regularly). Need some more and will split with DD. Purchased and then this evening got to thinking, hmmmm better check what else they have in inventory. Came across Don Asletts V36087 set of 50 in the blue color. Cancelled first order. Getting 10 more towels, and saving about 1.50. I already own Don's and figured they have to be about the same quality anyway, so didn't think twice about which vendor to use.

Plus Ebates will give me about 20 cents towards the purchase.

I usually go a step further and check out the item I want on ebay. Usually find it, too.

I'm going to make you (and many others) feel good.  

Here's what I do...the ultimate ding dong.  OK, so I'll see something presented and think, "That's a good idea, I'd like to have this or that...maybe I'll get one for my daughter".

Then go to hours later or the next day.  I see the same thing and think "That's a good idea, I'd like to have this or that...maybe I'll get one for my other daughter".

I kept doing that at Christmas and (swear to you I don't exaggerate) and bought 7 (yes, 7) of those wireless ear bud thingys!!

Here's the kicker....none of my grandchildren wanted the things so I ended up sending ALL of them back.

I have always been that way.  What I like or want I could pick it out over and over.  I never change....and for me...that's not a good thing.  I've done things like that so many times...

I'm trying (real hard) to turn over a new leaf because another of my resolutions is to not keep the stuff I don't want or like and to stop giving away so much stuff (i.e. send it back).

So, now do you feel better?

Good point (& reminder). Honestly I have been sooo good about this, and buy very little now at the Q, ( wasn't always the case). Now I have to check on this 😩😊 item on the 'bay. Thx!

My favorite trick is to impulsively buy something (clothing) I already own.  I've tried to get in the habit of checking before I order or a minute or two after so I can cancel.

Ha! I hear ya, we've all been in some way other a little slow at times about on-line shopping. I will say, make sure to stick to your resolution to RETURN everything and anything you do not want, or like. Even when I bought more from the Q, I was good about returning. Thx for the laugh and encouragement 😊!

Oh, @Annabellethecat66!  I missed you so much on your recent hiatus.  You put it out there, warts and all.  I’m the same way!  I’ve been much better about limiting my purchases, since I track each and every one regardless of vendor.  But it is so hard at a Christmas when the list is long and the funds are shorter than the list.  Then the returns!

I am a major impulse buyer.   So what I usually do now is put it on check hold.  If I still really want it a week later, I purchase it.  More times than not, I cancel the item.

Plus I like to read reviews before purchasing, especially for clothing.  Got burned too many times.

So do you guys remember the other day I told you I bought that trash can?  Well, I did.  So my friend was over (she's the one who sets up all of these gadgets I buy and can't read the directions).  Well, she helped me figure out where to put the thing (in the kitchen)...duh!  

Remember, I told you how for years I've always used a clothes hamper (which is very large).  I love that thing but my son-in-law always teased me about it.

Well, now in this kitchen (which has so much errrrr...'stuff' in it) has the hamper trash can, a plastic bag hanging for recycling stuff and ...ta da...the new trash can.  Well,  you should see me trying not to walk past to set the lid off (remember...it opens automatically).  I've scooched (that word is misspelled...I know it)....I've done everything but get on my hands and knees not to set it off...but it STILL goes up (the lid I mean).

I bought stainless steel because I figured I'd give it to my daughter....and (wait for it), I think I'm going to give it to her because the thing is driving me crazy!

It's stupid (and big) to send back.  I need to come up with an explanation (to her) on why I'm not keeping it...I don't lie, so I'm going to have to skirt around the truth....stay tuned.....

I really worked on this throughout the years of impulse, so that's why I was so mad at myself. Plus I found I can get things at B&M stores for wayyyy cheaper, try them on, and stuff like that. It's a process I know.
