I ordered one a couple of years ago and it came in one big box. The chair inside was in two pieces - it was simple to put the two pieces together. I absolutely love mine - use it every day!

I've read several remarks from past purchasers on here - comments like these chairs are smaller than what is in their stores - one said it's definitely a woman's chair - noticed David Venable's leg/feet were hanging way off the chair when he was used as a ""model"".

I was interested in their swivel chair but that one had so many bad remarks = decided to pass. Cheap was one comment - didn't think it was up to Lazy Boy past standards.

Good Luck

My husband loved them and I gave some away and one went to the dump after he passed away a year ago in April. Flexsteel makes the best recliner but I don't want a chunk of a chair in my living area. I did just purchased a sofa and chair from them. Elegant and comfortable.

David Venable is a big man, so we don't have that problem, LOL!

I was interested because with the TSV it is Free S/H and I would have to pay the store in town to deliver to my home, plus it is memory foam and they have a color I like!

Thanks ladies for your comments!

There's no one-size fits all. You have to go to a store and sit in a chair or recliner to see if it's comfortable. I'm short, so when I went to buy a sofa and 2 club chairs, the cushions that were on the short-side fit me best. I recently went to a furniture store with my friend - and we sat in several recliners - and none was comfortable.

I just hate going to furniture stores, the sales people are on commission and follow you around!

Oh gosh, me too. It's almost bad as going to a car lot{#emotions_dlg.scared} I'd rather take a beating.

We have 5 recliners used in three rooms, only one is Lazy Boy and has lasted the longest. Two are modern sleek looking, made to order in America, and two were made in China and not expected to last very long -- if they do, fine, if they don't, we're not out a lot of money. I'd trust Lazy Boy's quality but there's nothing like sitting in one to be sure it's right for you.

Watch the presentation closely, do they appear to be easy to get in and out of for shorter people, where does the head hit the back and do they look like they're drowning in it.
