LVP is luxury vinyl planks..  It is not hardwood flooring.

It is best not to use any soap as it will be difficult to do so without leaving a residue which will attract dirt.

Dirt will scratch and discolor the floor. Mop with clean water only.

You should receive a booklet explaining how to care for this type of floor.

@webbgarner1 ----I had it in the main bathroom --there is a tub /shower combo----no issues with splashes or being slick--I had a rug in front of the tub too. And had just a shower curtain, no doors. LVP is waterproof. Never had any leaking issues with the toilet or sink either, in the 35 years I lived in that  house ---I would use this in a whole house if I was going to own one again. Also no little kids in the house anymore--less splashing!!Woman Wink

We don't have it in the bathrooms but do have it in the Laundry room.

Part of our remodeling project is ripping out all carpet and replacing with LVP flooring.  For those of you who have this type of flooring, what is the best way to keep it clean?

LVP is not hardwood.  Follow manufacturer's instructions on how to clean.
