I've always loved framed art and have many and also other momentos of our travels over the walls of our home.  In our hallway we have 2 large framed prints (Grand Canyon and Mesa Verde both done in tones of brown and orange).

I used to have a lot of art work on the hall walls and stairway walls leading up to the hall.  I decided to have the walls repainted and new carpeting put down a few years ago.  It looked so  fresh and nice that I didn't put any pictures back up!  I think about it but still have;t done so.

 Use to have framed photos of each of my kids taken at one year old. We recently painted so everything came down. I kind of like the look of the bare walls now and only have a nice silver framed mirror up. I like the simple look now.
