Used charcoal grills when younger but have used a gas grill for the last 30 years.

We have had such mild weather for Ohio this winter, that we have been able to grill out (comfortably!!) several times in December, January and February. I don't ever remember a winter when we had days in the 60's (and not just one or two, but many of them) and could grill and sit on the porch like it was May!

We used a Weber Kettle Grill for many years, but replaced it with a Weber Gas Grill a few years ago.  I like the convenience of the gas grill.  We use it all year 'round.  I always keep a spare full tank of gas, I've run out in the middle of cooking a couple of times and had to make a switch.  If I didn't have it, dinner would have been ruined.

@JeanLouiseFinch  SAME HERE!    I bought my husband a Weber gas grill about 12  years ago for Father's Day, which was a switch from charcoal.  SO CONVENIENT!  We keep 2 spares with gas.

@goldensrbest  We have a little Weber BBQ that uses the small blue propane tanks. I keep two or three on hand. Part of our deck is covered and we BBQ throughout the year. I'm not much of a meat eater, but dh likes his hamburger patties, and I prefer to BBQ them to lose some of the fat and also save the mess on the stove. This one is large enough to use for a crowd, as well.

@goldensrbest Something I neglected to mention....after we stopped using the Weber Kettle (charcoal), we had a few less expensive gas grills overf the years, prior to getting the Weber Gas Grill.  That was just throwing good money after bad.  I realize they're an investment, but if you can get the Weber, do it!  The less expensive gas grills on the market are not made as well (cheaper materials), end up rusting out in the bottom, and you'll be replacing it in a few years.  The Weber, on the other hand, is built to last.  I do recommend covering it when not in use.
