I do quite a bit of grilling by myself; and, while we have two gas grills taking up space on our deck, I purchased one of the electric grills from QVC several years ago.  We all love it.  No more running out of propane or worrying about using it.  While I do not need another one, I was tempted to get the George Forman grill that was the TSV last week.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

@SXMGirl oh I so second this endorsement of an outdoor electric grill!  As it's just me this is perfect plus I am moving into a condo on the second floor and the thought of lugging one of those gas cannisters up the stairs is beyond me.  Please know electric grills aren't for everyone but I just love them, great purchase!

We use a "mid-sized" propane gas grill out on our lanai. Unless we have company and I grill, i'll do chicken, hot dogs, and hamburgers together in advance and reheat in the microwave at later meals. Always keep a back up propane tank in the garage in case the other runs out during a cook-out. Back in the day, it was charcoal and a Hibachi. remember those?

We use our gas grill all year.  DH adds apple and other woods.  Yum!

@goldensrbest  Check out Weber's Performer charcoal grills.  We've been using them (Weber's) for many, many years and have no complaints.

Strive for respect instead of attention. It lasts longer.

DH & I just got this grill a couple of weeks ago.  We love it!  It requires the small cannister gas; we have gotten at least 4 grills out of one cannister.  It folds up and tucks away beautifully!

We used a Weber Kettle Grill for many years, but replaced it with a Weber Gas Grill a few years ago.  I like the convenience of the gas grill.  We use it all year 'round.  I always keep a spare full tank of gas, I've run out in the middle of cooking a couple of times and had to make a switch.  If I didn't have it, dinner would have been ruined.

We have gone through many kinds of grills over the past 40 years. Charcoal,  gas, electric, not a lot of flavor without adding something  to add flavor,  until now. We bought a Traeger smoker last year. Love love love it. You don't have to add anything.  Whole  turkey, Chicken, hamburgers, ribs, hot dogs, all are delicious.
