I'll tell you.  I grew up with a full sized bed.  I now have a queen and wouldn't go back.  The extra space is really nice, but bed linens do cost more.  I really do like the extra wiggle room.

My mom says I can't wait until you get a bigger bed. Then maybe the dog will sleep with you and not me lol. She tried to sleep with me but a twin bed just isn't big enough for both of us. One night I let her stay in my room and she litterly kicked me out of my bed. I ended up in the recliner to sleep. And then she went upstairs in my parents bed after she kicked me out.

Re: Getting my chandelier yipee

@ccassaday, I like it! We have some Turkish friends and it has this Middle Eastern vibe to it...my question for you-unless I am confusing you with another poster, and that's possible, I thought you posted a picture of this beautiful sea green bed ensemble....it was so serene....

This chandelier seems a little too busy for the tranquility of that bed ensemble....but ignore me if I confused you with somebody else!

Isn't decorating fun? When you have time to shop and look, it's great! I am easy to please-and I don't think you will ever seem me on HGTV, but it's fun.

I'm so glad you're doing better and healing!

Hugs,

Re: Getting my chandelier yipee

@ccassaday, I had a belly laugh over the doggie issue...lucky you! She allows you to sleep on her bed! Same here!

We will always have a dog/dogs-and when we renovate the house that we plan on retiring in, I want a California King! Room for everybody!

Actually, I don't like Kings: they are big and it's physical exercise just making the bed. I may do nothing else in my house-but my bed is always made...and I'm a clean floor freak who takes great delight and satisfaction vacuuming....go figure....

Yep that was me. I put a collage of everything together. The furniture, comforter, and chandelier. I really like it.  I still have over a month probably before I will order it. It's always possible I will chenge my mind. I do know I don't want a ceiling fan.

Love the chandy!  Maybe some accents of mercury glass around the room?

But really want to say that I'm happy to see you posting and hope you are feeling better!

Glad you've got this *project* going, too.  It's a biggie, but better to help you heal.

Thanks. I feel great. Swelling is down. I am excited to get the joints put in next month. Can't wait to see how it is to eat normally again. I have a huge list of foods I can't wait to eat. It's been so long since I have been able to eat normal foods. Can't wait to eat nachos or be able to take a bite of a hamburger. Oh and don't get me started on doritoes and  potato chips and dip. Yum. We are having a retirement party for my dad about a week and a half after I get the joints put in. I am hoping my wires will be out and I can enjoy the food. Lol.

Thanks. The cool thing is that it isn't super expensive.

Oh gosh. To bad I can't order my chandelier by tonight. Ebates has a 15% rebate for pier1. That would be a $30 rebate.
