I rarely entertain these days @stevieb and my husband and I eat at the kitchen table, so I keep my dining room table set at all times.

 I change it as my mood strikes and as the seasons and holidays change. I love the various dinnerware, glasses, centerpieces, candles, place mats and tablecloths that I have.  Of course, we use the table when we have guests over.  No matter how simply or elaborately I choose to decorate it, my table always makes me smile.

Makes me think it would be nice to make more of an effort in my own home.

@kindred cats  I know. Sometimes perusing the shelter magazines and decorating sites motivates me to experiment. Of course, there are also times it frustrates me!

All of the tables are lovely; I can only imagine how wonderful the aroma must be with the clove-studded oranges among the other fresh fruits and greenery on the shelves and on the table ...the aroma of the holidays indeed.

The table settings are lovely. I don't have enough matching plates to even attempt the look. We will dine on paper plates from Walmart. They are pretty with a cornucopia design. The weather will probably be warm enough to eat outside. It would be a tight fit for twenty people indoors.

Gosh I love pretty tablescapes!! I aspire to be able to dress my table for a lovely dinner---have a tiny apartment right now and all my stuff is in storage---

These are so pretty and festive! Since it is just my husband and I now, we keep our Dining Table set year round. We have a Fall Scape, a Christmas Scape, and a Winter Scape and Spring/Summer.

We bought them slowly over time, along with chargers and placemats, etc......It was fun to do, and because they are changed 4 times a year, we are never bored with them...Thanks for the pics, so pretty and fun to look at and get ideas!!!!!!

@Citrine1 Doesn’t sound one bit silly to me. These gracious efforts are a gift to everyone at the table. For some guests it may be the only time they have ever been exposed to such a beautiful dining experience.

Oh my goodness, how pretty!!  I used to set a table like these for holidays.  Unfortunately, I can't do it anymore.  Thanks for posting @stevieb
