Found It!

As many of us are doing, I've been purging, and working in the basement for the last two weeks or so.

I've been looking for a Fenton lamp that I knew I had packed up, and thought I knew where it was. I was talking about selling it, and my mom asked that if I found it, could she try it out in her house first (of course! what better than to have your stuff kept, just not at your house and under food all the time!!).

I even thought I gave it to my son when he moved out, but he said no.

Well, today I finally found it, right where I had stored it, and had looked twice, but somehow missed it!

Anyone else put things away, and either swear you know where they are (but they aren't) or they are there, but you look more than once before you 'see' them?

Must be age! LOL

@Mominohio, that was me several weeks ago. I decided to once again start purging my closet. I knew that I had bought three pairs of shoes for the spring and summer at DSW. I looked everywhere but could not find them. When I did find them, they were still in the huge shopping bag right next to my clothes rack where I hang items that do not go in the dryer. How I missed that bag for two weeks I will never know. I looked at it every day.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

I found my Pfaltzgraff Christemas platter Tuesday. I couldn't find it for the Holidays.......I put it away with the cookie sheets

I have done that several times. The worst was with a very, very large amount of cash that I had no business of having taken out of the bank in cash form. I refused a cashiers check...dummy me.

i put it away and then couldn’t find it. I knew where I put it, but it wasn’t there,when I looked. After searching for about a week, I found it. it was right where I put it, but behind something. After I found it, it all came back to me.

I learned my lesson on that one.

Isn't that always the way?! You find something just after you no longer need it. Drives me nuts!

I can not find the set of 5 candle rings I ordered from Grandinroad. I put them away last year and just can't find them.

I only have a few places they could be and looked numerous times....it is driving me crazy.

I am missing a 10 inch tall brass pineapple that I put away when I took out all my autumn decorations. It's still missing, even hauled out the large tote where I store all my holiday decor, nope, not there. Now it wasn't a very expensive thing but I really liked it and it's driving me nutty lol. Who's that saint that helps you find lost things - maybe he can help find my pineapple
