I do like the space, but I don't care for anything in the space.

 

The drapes, furniture and art would have to go.

Pros/cons for this room.  I love the brightness of it, the french doors & large window on the left.  Also, the sofas & the "not too ornate fireplace."  Not a fan of the old-fashioned ottoman table, nor the side chair.  I like that they added the introduction of color, just not the styles.  Other changes I'd make as well.

My first thought is the room is nicely decorated but looks impersonal IMO.

Attractive, but very safe.  Not a lot of personality or creativity. I do like the rug.
