It's a nice room,. but looks a little cluttered to me. Don't like the stuff on the mantle, the subject of the picture over the fireplace, or the 3 pics on the wall.

Does anyone know what that is over the bookcase?

@jubilant I hate white furniture and that chair is an absolute horror. And ditch the drapes. That's just for starters.

I like the room except for the coffee table. Might make a few other changes but that is the one that stands out the most. The room looks up to date to me.

Love the room. It's timeless.

I love pictures "stacked up" on a wall. I also especially love the shape of the arms on those sofas.

Not to say I love everything, but overall it's very liveable and attractive.

I like traditional style, but there's nothing in this room that I really love. It's ok, but I wouldn't choose those furnishings or colors for my home. The windows and doors are nice. I think the fireplace looks too big, and I don't care for the style and color of the wood around it.

@jubilant I think this is a beautiful room, but I would make a few changes. I would change out the art work, especially the one over the fireplace. I would also remove the small/low table (or maybe it is a stool) since that is an accident waiting to happen. Not a fan of the area rug, even though it does work with the upholstery, and I would change out the pillows to pillows that were more decorative and add a beautiful throw to the sofas.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!
