It's a beautiful room. I don't like a lot of stuff around, so I would make some changes.

   First impression?

Late 50s/early 60s TV.

Picture this as the set for a scene in Perry Mason, or Bachelor Father.

  Fits, doesn't it?

Looks like my Aunt Hazel's dream home.

Personally, I'd start by removing both sofas and a lot of the stuff on the walls. Maybe paint to accent the structural detail.

That's actually really nice.

I like everything but the picture over the fireplace. As much as I love dogs, I don't like that old fashioned picture.

Oh and also that little wicker table either-they tend to get dusty and dirty looking and I only like wicker outside.

But a really nice room!

A comfortable inviting room....a couple minor changes, remove three of the four paintings/prints stacked up in one row and remove a few of the items on the tables/fireplace.  It would enhance the serenity of this pleasant room...as well as the addition of a couple green plants.

The house looks very nice, but not my traditional style decor and definitely not my colors, but for me personally, I'll take it over the modern I see now.

Love the room and like the furniture except the coffee table and the so very small table by the couch.  This room could be traditional or country depending on the tables you place in the room as the fireplace could be traditional, country, french, contempory.

Love it except for...........those 4 pictures.   With bookcase and french doors - too much - too much going on in that corner.

The couches look like they bought one-size- fits- all slipcovers.

Any nice upholstery on them and the room would look nice.

Seating isn't set up for setting a drink down easily.

If I'm forced to hold my glass, I'd probably sip constantly.  And if it's wine, I'd start listing....sooner.

@jubilant I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this!  Just two days ago I was sorting things and found a beautiful and nicely made tablecloth out of that blue material!

It's not a great fit for the table I have now, it will work but I said "I'm keeping that because I might make toppers or chair cushions of something!"

Love the room!
