bought these last Sunday (3 sets for gifts). They were $19.98/each & 20 Duracell batteries included! Great price!

I dont have membership I went w/a friend but not sure if you needed coupon from the flyer.

They are just as nice as luminara except wick does not move but has same effect!

COSTCO is selling five candles, on timers for $19.98. I bought them, they are great.

@panda1234 -  was this a sale price?  I bought them a couple of weeks ago and they were $29.99.  TIA.

@DecorDiva You are correct. I also bought three exterior Mercury glass mason jars the lit up and those were $19.98.

A couple of yrs. ago, I purchased several sets of Candle Impressions with timers. They have all been discontinued, I love them, & wanted to reorder. I have looked at the Luminara candles, but I don't care for the fake looking flame. I can't tell if this is a bulb, or what the "flame" is made of. Can someone tell me about the "flame"??

I love my Candle Impressions, guess I could check on Amazon.

@TX-starlight

I have many many flameless candles. Like most here, I started with the Candle Impressions with the black wick, and those are such great candles. Long battery life, and long lasting. Probably a decade in, and I've never lost a Candle Impression candle to failure. When unlit, the ones with the simple black wicks look real, but when lit, that black wick with no flame is as odd looking as the Luminara with their plastic wick when not lit. So in my opinion, there is a trade off with each style of candle. Some look real when on, others look more real when off.

I have lots of Luminara, mostly that I have picked up elsewhere with a primitive finish, and I do love them. But Luminara are more sensitive with that moving wick, than their Candle Impressions counterpart Mirage line, who's wick is stationary and relies on the dance of alternating lights to make the same plastic flame dance. I also will not buy any flameless candle with a fake bulb in or on it. They bother me more than the plastic wick of the flame effect styles.

Many people don't care for the fake plastic wick that both Luminara and Mirage have, and they are noticeable when the candle is not lit. It is something I have grown used to, especially if they are mixed in with a lot of other things, like rings, picks, pedestals or inside of lanterns, and it becomes not so noticeable.

I always consider the Mirage line first, as they are much less expensive. I feel that overall, Candle Impression Mirage line uses better wax and finishes and has better colors too.

Today's TSV is the first time Luminara has gotten to the 1000 hour mark on their battery life, while many Mirage and other CI lines have had that a long time. If Luminara moves all their candles to that better battery life, it will be a big advantage for them.

As for battery life in general, I think people waste their time and money with cheap flameless candles and/or cheap batteries.

I have picked up a few no name flameless candles and they aren't worth my time and money when they don't have timers or have a low battery life, and I'd do without if I couldn't get either Luminara or Candle Impressions.

The price of the TSV with free shipping is really not bad, when you consider the larger candles will break down to $25 each, which for the brand, is quite a deal compared to other places. The problem is having to buy so many of the same size and color that is driving a lot of people to pass on these.

These are a great deal and with batteries?!!!!

Was this at Costco?

We don't have one. But what great gifts. Nice neutral color and a variety of sizes.

Wish I could get my hands on a few sets of these!

@Mominohio

yes. Not sure if they are available on line. I am heading there, Michaels, HL & other places today - getting it all in before my last surgery! But honestly, I don't need to be "tempted" at anymore places🙄

I am looking for a nice 7-9' tree.  I haven't had a tree up in years - now I miss it just had a 4' I used on table.  I'm having family over Christmas so I've gotten a little "overboard"😮...but loving it

(but the thought of tree shopping in 86 degree weather is crazy in my mind!😉)

Candle Impressions makes Mirage Flameless Candles. They are the same good quality and can be found everywhere. They have excellent customer service. Google them. I bought the Pacific .... brand at Costco last year and I think they are also made by Candle Impressions. Love them.

I do not like Mirage candles (I have a couple of them) because their flame does not flicker, and the timer function is a little complicated, at least the design I purchased a few years ago.  All my flameless candles are on a timer.

But at Amazon, I have purchased Comenzar flameless candles and I am very happy with them. They have sets of three of different sizes in the set, including remote control.
