First Time Homeowner Gets Space Decorated

The young homeowner "hired" her designer brother to do her first space.  It's a 750 square foot two bedroom unit in the top floor of a historic building.

 

Do you think he successfully infused her style into the space?

I hope she likes it but too much "stuff: for me. I'm more of a minimalist.

There are parts of every photo I like, I love the photo walls I have a lot of mixed media on my walls.

Not sure about the lace curtains in the kitchen or the arts and crafts ceiling fixture on the living room. 

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

A LOT of color going on!!!

 

The kitchen looks nice. Would not have used that particular window treatment.

 

The shower curtain color is pretty. 

 

Overall -  not a fan.

I like everything except that orange room. If he had used a little orange, instead of doing the entire room in orange, I would have liked that room also. He brought a lot of welcoming warmth to the space. Overall, I really like the entire apartment.
