Has anyone tried these laundry sheets (or any brand?). It appears a package is 30 sheets, 60 loads. No more large jugs, recycling. They caught my interest, but I have not purchased. Saw them on Amazon and eBay. Just wondered if anyone here uses these.
90% of laundry detergent is water. Didn’t know that.

@lynnie61 I have been wondering about these sheets as well. I am not a fan of the cubes (can't think of what they are called), but the sheets are more interesting. I will follow for replies.

@lynnie61 I have a box of Sheets Free and Clear in my laundry room, but I'm trying to finish a gigantic jug of All Free and Clear (Costco). When that's finished I'll try the Sheets and report back.

I haven't tried them, but am also interested so I just checked Consumer Reports to see what they said and they were not recomended.
The reason they give for that is "This includes liquidless laundry detergent sheets—eco-friendly dissolvable strips of concentrated detergent that prove to be ineffective for stain removal in our tests."
But I'm still interested to see what actual users think ![]()
(BTW the top 3 rated liquid detergents at CR are Tide Plus Ultra Stain Release, Persil ProClean Stainfighter, and Tide Ultra Oxi - and here I sit with a huge container of Costco (Kirkland Signature) liquid to use up!) ![]()

My daughter recommended these to me almost a year ago and I have been using them ever since. They do as good a job as any other good detergent. I would recommend these to anyone concerned about plastics in our landfills and oceans. I purchase mine from Amazon.

We tried the Tru Earth ones when they were offering free samples. We liked them and will probably buy some once we go through our huge jug of All Free and Clear. We didn't use them on any loads with really dirtly things, so not sure how they work for that, but they were fine for normal things.
I really love the idea of no waste, I can't imagine how many jugs of detergent we have gone through over the years. I hope that they become more popular and more economical as time goes on.

@lkat They say most of those plastic jugs get stained and can’t/won’t be recycled. That’s a lot of plastics in the landfills. Scary.

we have been using the cubes for the dishwasher the brand I get comes in a cardboard box, I would buy the cascade but its packaged in plastic which defeats the purpose.

Yes, I'm using laundry sheets right now. They dissolve immediately in the water and the scent is very mild. I tend to agree with the consumer magazine that said sheets don't completely remove stains. Therefore, I use them when washing only lightly stained/dirty clothing and bedding.

These work well. Especially nice to take on vacation. I still prefer Beekman's Happy Place liquid, but these do fine provided you're clothes aren't super dirty. When my husband comes back from our ranch I always use the liquid soap.
