Downey Label Warning

WARNING: Do Not Use This Product: On garments made with fluffier fabrics (such as fleece, velour, chenile, and terry cloth)

Have I been using Downey all wrong all these years? I have a load in now with all of these materials and I put Downey in! Decided to read the back of the label and could not believe this.
