I got this in my in-box about beach towels.

Do you have a preference RE the proper beach towel- round or oblong?

I'm so 2002 and prefer oblong. Just feel it fits the body better when laying on the beach. Oblong wraps better too. I can't see myself sitting on the beach on that donut towel. Nope no way.

I never saw a round beach towel, round would certainly work better for young kids.  But round also lets you put your "stuff" on the beack towel beside you and still have plenty of room.

I'm an oblong beach towel gal.

Needs to be at Very Mimimum 6.5' diameter. ( I'd prefer 7 feet ).   Then is's great for a little more personal space on the sides at the beach.

I have not been to the beach ion over 30 years!  My beach days are over; however, the round is nice looking but needs to be bigger to fit more than one but you can't lay down on a round towel so it's not good for the beach.

Oblong and oversize... Nothing worse than a skimpy beach towel...
