I have the Halloween tree--my brother gave it to me many, many years ago. I love it. I keep thinking I want the Christmas tree, but I have so many small ceramic lighted trees, in fact one for each room of my house and I am running out of room for storage.

I don't have them but think they are very pretty.

@Shem - In post #4 it says that you can buy just the Christmas ornaments from Macy's on sale now. You don't need to buy another tree.

You've inspired me. It's such a cute idea. However, I know my 3 year old grandson, whom I take care of 3 days a week would want to keep reararranging the fragile ornaments. I think I'll find a real tree branch, prop it up in a can of plaster paris. Make seasonal ornaments with him. Them let him decorate it to his hearts content.

Find a shelf. I taught our sons to "look with their eyes".

I purchased the Lenox tree a number of years ago and all sorts of cute, seasonal decorations to display.
I have: Valentine's Day; St. Paddy's Day; Easter; Snow Pals; Patriotic; Fall; Halloween; Thanksgiving; and Christmas.
I cared for my grandchildren often when they were little and it was a big deal when it was time to put different ornaments for an upcoming holiday.
They would tell me where they wanted each one to go and I put it there. The tree looked "off" at times but they were so proud of their choices.
When they were a little older, they decorated themselves.
We had lots of fun with it.

@drizzellla I had no clue the ornaments are that expensive now.
When I purchased mine, either on eBay or the Lenox site, most were $40-$50 on sale.

ECBG, NO! And mind your own business about how I help raise my grandchild.

What in the world?
There was nothing unkind that @ECBG posted. No need for such unkindness in yours @Sweet Kitties.
You have such a nice name too!
These kinds of unnecessarily mean posts are just happening way too often around here!
This is a nice thread about a holiday tree for heaven's sakes!
