do it all on a specific day?   My sister and I were discussing our Aunt who did all her laundry on Mondays.  They had 4 kids.  I know people didn't have the amount of clothes we do now but that's a lot of laundry.  Six people, bedding for six people. Yikes, day is shot.

 I do a load every other day during the week and weekends DD does her work clothes and pajamas/undies and bedding. We do bathroom rugs every 7 days or so too.

I wonder how many loads of laundry I've done over 50 years.  When the kids were growing up my washer was going non-stop.

For DH and me I do about 2 loads a week when the hamper is full.  No particular day.  Need is more of an incentive!!

My mother used to do the laundry on Mondays.  A couple of loads at a time and she did not have an "automatic" washer but one where the laundry was put through rollers to get the excess moisure out.  Then she would either hang the stuff outside or in the basement if it were bad weather.  Those were the days!!

I do laundry every day.  As soon as I have enough for a load, I just do it.  I do sheets once a week.  Towels get done as needed.

My mom had one day designated for laundry.  She would spend all day washing and drying and the next day was ironing.  I can't spend all day doing one chore.  LOL

I do mine when I get a load - and do my delicates the same but not necissarily the same day.  Towels and bedding whenever I'm close to running out.

No particular day/s of the week.  It's whenever the hamper is full.

I was my clothes about every 2 to 3 days. I wash towels, wash clothes, and under clothes  about every 3 days and I do my bedding on the weekend.( Sometimes on Friday)

I do laundry for clothes during the week as needed and save sheets/towels for the weekends when I change the sheets.

4 kids and once a week laundry?  Yikes!  

It's just the 2 of us and I do laundry usually 2x a week - not on a specific day - mostly when I find the time to do it.  We dry clean a lot so what we have to put in the washer is not much at all.  If I had more time at home - I'd probably run the washer daily.

O/T - I do love those Downey sprinkly things to put in the washer - smell great!

I do laundry on Mon and Thurs, it might change when DH retires, right now its sheets and regualr wash on Monday and bath towels and regular wash on Thursday

I do laundry on an as needed basis.  Sometimes a couple loads a day.  Sometimes a load or two a week.
