Thanks. After being called so many names and all the negative things that are said it is nice to have a live and let live attitude. I get that this isn't for everyone but I have yet to understand why people can't say they aren't into and leave it at that. Why the need to name call? Anyway, thanks for your post! Refreshing! You are most welcome and totally agree! What changes I do do for seasonal decorating, I do for myself, not for other people, it makes me feel good!
A provocative original post. Exactly why I would not respond.
It's much nicer to discuss subjects like this in more friendly threads.

I do think its nice to change things around , but it gets expensive ! I limit that to accessories like vases , fruit bowls on countertop , etc. ....... Just like kitchen & bath designs , especially appliance finishes , are now outdated after a few years . They got lots ofpeople to switch to stainless steel & now I read that it's passé .....white is back in style .
Woo Hoo! White is back in style! my 25+ year old fridge is new once more!

I have a cabinet over the refrigerator which I use to store my Christmas dinnerware and serving pieces. I have dinnerware for 8 which I pull out for entertaining. I have several temptation serving/cooking pieces which I use as everyday ware. After Thanksgiving until the middle of January, I keep my table set with the temptation serving pieces like the 3 tier tidbit tray, the snowmen mugs and the snowflake plates. I use my Temptation Christmas patterns cooking pieces during the same time-Thanksgiving to middle January. I enjoy how festive it makes my table look.
I have to access that cabinet over the refrigerator with a ladder, so it's not a storage area I would want to access often. When I see items and think about buying something, I do have to think about where I'm going to put it. I liked the gingerbread rolling pin, but I have a rolling pin that serves my purpose. Cute gift for someone who has the storage room or doesn't have a rolling pin.
In the past, I have bought several of the Temptation Christmas sets on clearance and then the next season made something and given the food and the dish. The gingerbread storage pieces I recently purchased, I'll be filling and giving away. They will work great for fudge.
