I haven't bought new sheets in many years but it's that time again. I have to shop on line as I live 60 miles from the closest city and I am handicapped.
I love the Northern Nights sheets from 10 to 15 years ago but not the new ones. Looking for 100% cotton with a weight to them. No flannel. They last for years.
Any tips or item numbers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking you in advance and have a lovely day.

I broke down and bought 100% cotton from LL Bean a couple of years ago. Great sheets and wash well. You might watch for a promotion. Occasionally LLB offers discounts but you want to watch for them. Signing up for their emails will help ensure you receive them. Once you receive one, you can go back and stop their emails if you want.
I'm not fond of Lands Ends sheets. I just didn't like how wrinkled they were right out of the dryer.
I used to swear by JC Penney sheets but the last set I bought wore out too fast so I didn't buy anymore.

I am going to be looking for sheets soon too...so will keep up with your post.............like you 100% cotton and not with the Wrinkle Defense in it (chemicals?)..............i don't care if they are wrinkled............used to buy Martha Stewart all cotton from Macy's years back but they don't have those anymore(or at least my colors)................so will be interested in your inquiry...good luck!!

I've been looking for a long time for new sheets.
I want 100% cotton - not a sateen finish, something that stays cool and doesn't make noise when you turn over.
The last set I bought were one of Targets Threshold brand and they were awful. My husband wanted to know if I made the bed with plastic shower curtains. They got put into the box of painting stuff to be used as drop cloths.

Got a sheet set of king set Wamsetta 620 Egyptian cotton tc sheets for $79 from Bed, Bath and Beyond and they come with a 7 year warranty.
Love them.

My suggestion would be steer clear of anything here at Q. Their quality is nothing like what you remember from a decade or more ago.
If ordering online, look for a company that will accept returns free if possible, in case you don't like them when they arrive.
The best sheets I've found in a long time were at Sam's Club a few years back, but they don't carry the brand anymore.

THreshold sheets from Target are the best sheets I have ever bought in 45 years of buying sheets.
