We are getting a new store "At Home" in our closed Sears store that closed last summer, it looks like a fun store, but I am not familiar with it, any information about it, TIA!

Hi Hooty, we have one here in Raleigh where I have picked up some kitchen items a couple times. I would describe it as Pier One meets Costco -- a wide array of indoor and outdoor home products in a huge warehouse store setting. IMHO the merchandise tends to be less trend-driven than items you will find in Pier One or Homegoods. The prices seem reasonable overall. Make sure you set aside at least a couple hours and wear comfy shoes when you visit!

I looked up the website & found out there is a store not too far from me. Oh, I got to go & check this out. Thanks for this thread or I would have never known I have a store close by.

I've never heard of this store, but checked out the website. Looks like the kind of store I would love. Unfortunately, the closest one to me is 120 miles away.
Hope you have fun when you finally get to go there!

We have one in my town - when our Garden Ridge store closed, At Home opened in the old GR location. (yes, big, warehouse-y type store)
I was in it last week - stopped by looking for a larger picture frame. Found exactly what I wanted (22" x 28") for a print for 19.99. Way nicer and much better price than either Hobby Lobby or Michael's.
Right now they have lots of Easter decor and TONS of outdoor furniture cushions. Housewares, storage, decorative items of all kinds.
Their website (just saw it for the first time) is pretty good with describing what they have.
And as someone posted, wear comfy shoes.
Pretty good prices on most things - although I wouldn't say they have "high end" merchandise. More like basic, decorative type things - just a LOT of it.

Thanks ladies, I am getting excited, and it opens the later part of this week, plus it is less than 5 miles from me!

There's a store about 40 miles from me. Not near enough but I'm sure I pass it on the way to my daughter's house. Next time we drive down, I'll look for it and stop in.

I think that "At Home" is a reconstitution of the older "Garden Ridge" chain.
I live in the greater Houston area, and we have had a few Garden Ridge stores in Houston and San Antonio since the early 80's. It was a warehouse-type home decor, housewares, inexpensive furniture and rugs, seasonal decor, and garden decor store (minus the live plants and plant care products). They were having financial problems in recent years, so updated their store profile and morphed into "At Home".
I am glad to see they are adding stores in other areas.
It has always been a fun place to shop, especially for seasonal decor. The quality is often not that of Pier I or Home Goods, but you can often find just want you want or need at an affordable price.
I have found quite nice metal wall art, mirrors, paintings, garden art, LARGE planter pots (my husband grows sago palms, which require massive pots as they mature), metal etageres, etc, and they sometimes have things you can't find other places. Since they reconstituted as "At Home", they now have a huge selection of seasonal decorations in season (Christmas, Easter, fall, etc). I prefer the faux flowers and foliage of Hobby Lobby for quality and realistic look.
"At Home" carries patio furniture, lots of cushions, fountains,
AS SEEN ON TV, lamps, decorative boxes, tons of baskets and storage options, and a nice selection of acrylic storage boxes for the kitchen, bathroom and more, like sizable faux plants.
Their buildings are large and their selection is huge, so as others have advised, wear comfortable shoes, and be sure to take a vehicle big enough to haul your purchases.
I've been in their nearby store several times recently and saw people buying stuff out by multiple shopping carts full.
Happy Shopping!

We had one open in my area in upstate NY and I love it. There is so much there and the prices are very reasonable. I get my coffee and just walk around the store. In fact I'm heading there today.
