Always at least hang something.  A more private hallway can do family.

I have never paid much attention to my hallways.  I'd constantly be bumping into a table.  I do like the photographs on the wall in the first picture.  I've been thinking about doing that.  You can see my second floor from my family room right where the pics would go.  But, on the other hand, I know me.  Once it's painted and looks all new, I won't want to put holes in the wall.

I like all of the light and airy hallways.

Our friends turned their long hallway into a storage/closet.  With doors at each end.

It's a hallway that was never ever used.

Everyone walked through their dining room into the kitchen.

I have a similar hallway, and I have a white shelving unit on one side.  Storing 'this and that' that I often use/need.

Nobody (more or less) walks down that hallway.  So why not use that space. (?)

There are a few framed photos along one wall.

I having trouble picturing a hallway that isn’t used & turning it into a closet. Sounds very interesting. My hallway is the only access to the bedrooms so that’s not an option in my house.

I like to decorate hallwaysif there is enough room.  If the hallway is too narrow, l would just put a few pieces of art work on the wall or other wall decor.
