I love the hallway with the pictures on the wall. But I would definitely get rid of that table and lamp.

I like them, especially 1,2 and 4.....I have a short hallway so I only have a couple of things on the wall, The hallway in photo # 3 reminds me of my brother and sister in law's hallway, they have a long rather narrow hallway, and it has photos all along the sides. It is really nice and done tastefully! The photo with the drapes is unique, but I would hate to try to keep those clean......

Hallway #2 appears to be the widest; I think that's why it's my favorite.

Personally I get claustrophic easily and prefer hallways to be open.

I would love to add a narrow table to my hallway, but I know my husband would not like it.  He would say he'll walk into it.

I like hallways 1, 2 and 4.

My current hallway is decorated with framed art and a not very deep storage piece. If I can find room elsewhere, the piece of furniture will be moved. Most hallways in most typical residences it would seem are simply too narrow to support furniture. Another place in my housing history had a very long hallway and so bookshelves lined up that were not deep worked there, but just barely. For the most part, I think hanging art is about the only reasonable decor for many hallways. Otherwise, you're always jockeying to get by whatever else is there. My current foyer is also very narrow and even though it's petite, I'm considering removing the table and lamp I have there in favor of just a large piece of hanging art and ceiling light fixture.

I like all the hallways - some of the light fixtures would have to be changed and not keen on the drapes but I think they look good.

The goofy floor plan in my house has two hallways and I never thought of decorating them with anything but a rug.

I like all of the light and airy hallways.

Our friends turned their long hallway into a storage/closet.  With doors at each end.

It's a hallway that was never ever used.

Everyone walked through their dining room into the kitchen.

I have a similar hallway, and I have a white shelving unit on one side.  Storing 'this and that' that I often use/need.

Nobody (more or less) walks down that hallway.  So why not use that space. (?)

There are a few framed photos along one wall.

@wilma

I really like pics 1 & 2.

They're very different in style, but I do like each one .. pic 1 for the warmth & pic 2 for the lighter, airy feel.

Thank you for sharing.

I like pictures if there's not too many.  If that were the case, I'd feel claustrophobic (#3).  I really like the first picture but I just see repainting and repairs to the walls with that wide of table.  The second and fourth picture have the narrow tables which makes a little more sense but I just don't care for the look of them.  Plus, I think you'd still have people bumping into them needing repairs to the walls.  Maybe it's just me because I'm pretty klutzy....LOL!
