Thank you, @JeanLouiseFinch -- sounds like wise words to me!!

With a product such as JM Argan Reserve... a product that technically doesn't have preservatives... is that better to throw out?   Will check scent and consistency like you mentioned as well.

Probably.  Oils can go rancid.  You'll probably be able to tell by smell and color.  Going forward, keep your oil bottles refrigerated and only transfer a usable amount to another bottle.  Something @SilleeMee suggested in the last  was to cover the refrigerated bottle with foil if the oil isn't in a dark bottle.

Yes, exactly. You can find extra empty amber-colored  (1-ounce is a good size) glass dropper bottles on Amazon. They don't cost very much and can be used over and over again. I use blue painters' tape to label them so that way I remove the tape easily before washing them. To clean them just remove the glass sipper tube from the rubber bulb and place it securely in the dishwasher along with the bottle.

W/hand lotions, when the tube is almost empty,I cut the bottom of the tube off and transfer the amt left over into a small "tupper ware" type container. I am always surprised at how much product remains in the tube.

Lol, I do the exact same thing.  I also do this with the lip balm in a squeeze tube that lives by my bed.😃

Re: De-cluttering question -- makeup

@Julie_23.  Since yours was primarily a make up question and the responses were all about beauty products, you should have put your post in the Beauty Forum.

The mods will move it for you if you'll email them here.
