@Luvsmyfam In the short time I have been posting here I notice this landlord has caused you a lot of problems. I guess in his case persistance is the only way to get him to do what you need him to.

Well friends,I'm so darn frustrated I could SCREAM!Landlord stopped by with dasher part.Yes,it is workinWhat he didn't do which is sooooo typical of him,he didn't put back bottom front panel.It is a plastic strip that goes across the bottom of DW.Everything he touches,is so half assed.I probably would of been better off calling a repairman.And yes,if I could move ,I would!Please bare with me friends,I'm sure at this point you are getting sick of reading about this.Yes,I did call him,but have no idea when he will be back

I had a Kitcheaid dishwasher that was 10 years old when it finally died. I didn't like it since it never got the dishes really clean and small pieces of plastic were always coming off. 

DH did some research and we decided to get a Miele.  It took six months to arrive because of the pandemic and I got used to washing dishes by hand. 

It was a pain but worth the wait!  My dishes now come out sparkling clean each time!

Just like with the bottom grill cover on refrigerators, the back side of that dishwasher panel probably holds the key as to whether it slides or snaps on.
