What do you think about a non-traditional design in spindles?

I could live with it.  Not so much with the artwork or light fixture though.

The  spindles remind me of garden fixtures  which I do like. The  light fixture follows the  garden theme , however the artwork not so much .

I like the stairway and the chair. The 'art' needs to go.

I like them!  I've never been a traditionalist. They are like sculpture.

Pass on the spindles but I do like the artwork.

@Whatcha wanna bet this is a boho designed home or at the very least, a very eclectic, because this does not seem to work together but if we saw the rest of the home, it just might.

I don't like what I would see (if this is the entry into the home) and I would judge the rest by this so I like the stairs with the design and love the chair but the light fixture and art together are a bridge too far.

They are each, in their own right and proper venue, probably very lovely, but not together.  Is this one of those crazy designers from HouseBeautiful?

I like them very much and also like that they kept a traditional wooden banister.  Art work is in the eye of the beholder, so whatever....
