For the bicentennial a guy in our town paint his house just  like the flag. It was really well done, if you like that sort of thing

The real kicker was ,he got on the historical committee, that over sees how how can paint the outside of your home

He was the worst person to deal with. Totally obnoxious, and rude to home owners ,seeking permission to restore the outside of their homes

Isn't it always the way with petty tyrants?

Re: Crazy House Colors

[ Edited ]

People living in those houses must not like their neighbors.

Now I know why I'm happy living in a community where there are rules.  You just can't do anything to the outside of the house or the grounds that you want.   Fine with me.

Too much color on a home.  Ugly.

I wouldn't mind some of the houses in my neighborhood because they would cheer it up and be different.  I don't know though if I would want those particular color designs on my home.

I wouldn't want to live next to any of those those houses, but I don't care for neighborhood living anyway. We live in the woods and I wouldn't paint my house something crazy.

I pick:

1st & 3rd homes the best!

1st home colors are a bit on the wild side, but I think they compliment each other & doesn't appear to be close to another home to stick out like a sore thumb!  I don't hate it.

3rd home - I like how they named it & love the water views.  Definitely fits the Fall Season!

Glad none of them are my neighbors.
