We actually woke up to about 2" of snow in Albuquerque  Saturday morning.  Just seeing the moisture was exciting.

In the mountain place we sold, there was a gas fireplace.  Since the ceiling was open to the second floor and had a suspended light / fan, it was always drafty....you needed a shawl to be comfortable.

Here at home, we had a small removable glass-sided fireplace that burned wood.  It warmed the great room without causing a draft.

Snow and Cozy are not normally two words that go together for me.  I detest snow & cold weather.

With all the glass, I think I would be very cold & uncomfortable in that room, unless I was close to the fire.
