At one point in my life, DH and I considered building a log cabin...it never happened, I'm STILL in the SAME house after 43 years of marriage...not my choice!

Love the view and the dog, but not the porch. I can appreciate the workmanship, especially in the railing, but I'm not really a cabin person, a fact I've mentioned here before, and that a few posters couldn't understand. We're all different and like different things.

I love the look, cozy and tranquil.  However, I would put cushions on the chairs for comfort.

Our front porch hangs over the driveway and we are surrounded by trees as well.
