I get the feeling that whoever lives there smiles as she works.

She'd also have to be healthy enough to do a lot of reaching!  Woman Wink

I think it's really cute....but it would involve wayyyyyyyyy too much dusting for me!

it would be very hard to keep everything clean.

Re: Country Kitchen...

Too cluttered for me.  I don't like the idea of open shelves, but the cabinets and countertop are nice.

OMG, had to come back and add that I just noticed the cookie jar on the left.  My cousin had that exact same cookie jar decades ago and then gave it to my mom.  For all I know, my brother still has it somewhere!

My view:  utter clutter.

This is a big no; my eyes hate it, as there’s just too much going on in that small space.

I do like the cabinets and countertop.  I like the shelves, but don’t like the brackets holding them up, or the amount of stuff displayed.  My eyes are all over the place, and it reflects as clutter in my brain.

I dislike any look where there is a large display of different items like this.   I have to have smooth clear lines and lots of open space.

Overall, it's a huge NO for me.  I'm not not into the "country" look although there are a few decor items that are beautiful.  I don't care for open shelving anyway but in this kitchen, it's downright claustrophobic with the boatload of things on the shelves, etc.

I love to see the displays of things that people collect, but in such a small room this is overkill.

I couldn't even imagine how anyone could prepare a meal with the counters cluttered with all of the collectibles.

I do however love to visit people's homes and see the lovely things that they have inherited or purchased throughout their lives. One of my favorite things to do is browse through antique shops.

I remember how much I used to enjoy when the original Martha Stewart show was on tv and she would show her collection of depression glass and all the other lovely dishes and collectibles that she purchased or were handed down to her by her mother or grandmother.

This kitchen is so cluttered, it wouldn't be functional.  There's  no room to work.  This woman needs to quit shopping!

To me it's just clutter.  There's no room to work or prepare food.
