I really like the look of this room. I like the colors, I like the 'birdcage' and I love the coffee table. I might not have chosen such a dark shade of green paint for the walls, but it's lovely to me and while I most definitely would have skipped the valences at the windows, they clearly wanted an 'upmarket' country look and so one supposes that was part of them achieving it... I've never been a fan of slipcovers, but they work nicely in this room... I also like both the fern and dark green upholstered chairs to the picture's right, along with the botanical prints, though I'd skip the 'cupcake' ottoman or move it elsewhere

Like everything in the room but the dark green walls and dark green trim on drapes.  Change that dark green to a grey-green (like lighter green fern on the chair upholstery) and it would work better for me.  Leave the contrast trim off the drapes.

I am a green fan and love botanicals but just not the fluffy curtains  and all the stuff----I HATE to have to dust all the chachkas. but would gladly go have tea and admire the decor-----

Mostly lovely and tasteful. . .but what is that outlandish thing in the back corner--a dollhouse?

I could be comfortable in that room.  Smiley Happy  I especially like the chair with the leaf print fabric.
