Not ready to give up my "fun" car but this week I did look at Honda Pilot or CR-V.
I actually have friends with trucks but I hate to always ask them.
Since coming down to end of home remodeling furniture has been my mission & nothing I really ❤️ in stores. I cancelled the pieces I ordered when I found out they were "mdf/composite" material not wood. I like traditional well made pieces -- as you know are hard to find🤔☹️

Saddest 2 words in the English language: Estate sale.

yes we do because as I always say "this area is mostly seniors who downsized & they furnish the homes beautifully".
Although, most houses are selling so fast the people are buying them furnished...I went to estate sale last week. Bought 2 new Drexel-Heritage chairs and wrappings were still on them (couple didn't live here and with Covid never came back).

@Nonametoday If you have cleaned out a few houses of deceased relatives, it's the happiest two words around.
They come in, take care of getting rid of it and you make a little cash. Otherwise, it's months or years of hauling and digging and wrapping and boxing. And there is always a ton of stuff you have to dig through anyway.

No, they already died and left me with a terrible mess to clean out. It took us years to get those houses ready to sell.

It's compounded if you don't live close and spend weekends with a pickup or suv hauling things out and sorting and then going to work exhausted next week.
We did three houses before we discovered estate sales.

I never heard of them into I moved into this Community. It's absolutely unbelievable what they (estate people) put out for sale! And they work hard getting it set up money well spent. I remember first one I went too I was shocked they were selling "margarine" containers to underwear ...I'll come back & haunt my kids if they sell my underwear...lol
