And I dont think the colors coordinate very well........the console and rug look out of place with that chair....and I dont like the pattern of the rug with the chair pattern either...........

I like it.  That's not to say I would live with it, but if I saw it anywhere, I would say something nice.  I like all the elements.  I like how the eye is made to travel from the turquoise in the painting to the vase to the chair to the two turquoise glasses on the tray on the coffee table.  I think someone put a lot of thought into it.  It's very 50s, aka mid century modern.

I especially love the wonderful light beautifully diffused at the windows.   That adds a LOT to the whole ambience.

I also agree with the poster who said @lolakimono's posts and questions are provocative but in a healthy way.

Can't imagine living with any of these rooms.  Definitely not my taste.  Even tho they have colorful elements, they are harsh and blah looking to me.  Nothing soft and inviting about any of them.
