I love this bright, colorful vignette. For those assuming this is part of a larger room, it is. I saved that picture and will post it soon. Like others, I love the red sofa and, of course, the blue and white accents.

I love the red couches!  Any room filled with books is a big yes for me!

I really don't like the red sectional..I would replace it with navy, pale aqua. pale green, or pale coral. I might like off white, black, or charcoal with bright pillows too.

I like it, and I love the red couch. My sister in law decorates with a lot of red and yellow, and it is always so cheerful and pretty. I also love how his books aren't exactly perfect in the bookshelves as well....

It's all of the bright shades on one side of the color wheel!  Many women do the same with their wardrobe.

I LOVE the red sectional sofa and the rest of the room is nice too!!!

I love books....and like the sofa, but I do NOT like the choice of decorative pillows and I do not like ginger jars and the ginger jar style coffee table either.....

I enjoy all the bold primaries selected for this corner vignette. While there are elements in this area that probably wouldn't be my usual choice, the gestalt is so pleasant that I probably wouldn't change a thing. I also like the way the bolder colors work with the creamy white trim of the book cases and the off white wall color... I'm not a fan of white walls, but sometimes they just work... I also very much like the glass doors on the book cases and the discreet but pretty small knobs at the bottoms of the doors...

I also have to say, I've been contemplating a new sofa for my main living area and while odds are I won't, I now have to consider red and I have to consider a sectional... I'd long thought about a sectional and, perhaps, deleting a couple of chairs, but have resisted the option until now... If I can find a somewhat traditional and not too large sectional, I'll do believe have to give it a serious look... I've considered the notion before, but always rules it out as limiting my furniture arrangement options, but since I'm not moving furniture around as often as I did back 'in the day' that becomes much less of an issue... I suspect the challenge will be finding something smaller, something with a more traditional flavor that's affordable and yet offers a good choice of fabric and color options... Most sectionals that are readily available these days seem to be contemporary in flavor and offered in the typical color choices of oatmeal, grey or brown... None of which floats my boat in the least... No rush on this so I can take my time and look around...
