I LOVE them! (most of them) and think the pop of color is fantastic!

I built all 3 of my homes...but this last one was built as my forever home.

I have no intentions of selling and designed it w/ an architect to my exact specs.

I didn't even know they had these...but if I did...It would be a colored one!

I have a gas cooktop and double electric wall ovens.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

@Carmie

Have you had/used gas before?

I had electric and then electric cook tops my whole life.  I let HGTV, Food Network and my sis talk me into gas.

I HATE IT.

I'm seriously thinking about ripping it out and switching to Induction...but that would mean new pots and pans, electrician costs to add the line etc etc.

@RespectLife :  May I ask why you hate your gas stove?  I am in the process of redoing my kitchen (early stages) and really want to switch from electric to gas BUT you made me pause.....

Like you, I'm not sure I want to live through another "Harvest Gold" and Avocado era.    I'm old enough to remember both....AND shag carpet in similar colors!

I think there was a similar red/orange, but cannot recall the name.  I had wanted it for my kitchen, but ended up with white.

In my current home, I looked at a bright red AGA, but at $10,000, I decided I could live without it. Cat LOL

Some of the colors are pretty, but most of those ranges are way more fire power than I need these days.

Fun to look at though!

The clothes were often Rust, the shag carpet might have been Burnt Orange, but the kitchen appliances were Flame.  Appropriate, I guess, for a gas stove. Woman Wink

@RespectLife   Yes, I have had gas appliances before.  I really like a gas top because you can control the heat better and when you turn it off, it stops cooking.

We have two RV's and they both have gas everything. I have never been fond of a gas oven.  The temp is uneven and not reliable when making baked goods.

One of my friends has a range with gas burners on top and an electric oven.

I am jealous.  I am not a fan of wall ovens as they are never full size or big enough or if they are, I haven't seen any.

Right now I have an electric range with two electric ovens...one big and one small.

I have learned the hard way that for expensive major items I need to always go with a neutral color & look. I can't afford to change these items out often.   I can always add color with accessories which is easy to change out.

So for an expensive range (which looks like it costs thousands) I would have to go with stainless which I do like a lot.  I can add color with a nice teapot, dishtowels, flowers, pottery, etc.

Re: Colored Stoves/ Ranges

[ Edited ]

I am bored with stainless, which we currently have.  Several of the colors appeal to me, must have a gas cook top, and convection oven.

Next kitchen change will look hard at color appliances, just for our enjoyment.

Thank for the interesting photos, and ideas.

@caroln242   When we built our house,we had almond appliances.  I really liked that color.  Everything needed replaced, except my Kitchenaid mixer which is almond.

My appliances are black now.

I can see either black, white or stainless. My kitchen has brushed stainless appliances & I love it.

The colors in my opinion are to much of a risk. You may like a colored appliance now but will you still like it 5 years from now?

Practical?  Is that carpet in the kitchen?
