Quite a collection here!  It looks like a very carefully curated collection.  For my taste, the red competes for attention.  I would stick to earth tones for the rest of the room.

This is all kinds of UGLY (IMHO).  I don't mind the colors but it's the style & decor that is definitely not my style.

I think you have a really good point.  It is quite a collection, but the red does seem to compete for attention.  I'm thinking that if the room contained the collection but had lots of white and maybe a nice sand color for accent, it would be so much nicer.

Love turquoise and red together, a match made in heaven.  Turquoise is a neutral that goes with everything.
