Heavens no.  If this room had a view of a lake, maybe it would be okay.  I don't find the decor very exciting.  And, get that ship off the table.

The room looks dated.  The couch would look better if it was a darker blue.  There is not enough contrast in the colors.

I would never do my current home in coastal. I would only do it as a minor accent and only then if I lived near the coast or a large lake. I just have a 'thing' for not doing a decor in a geographic area or a style of home that it doesn't 'fit'.

That said, if I did live along the beach, I'd choose something similar to this maybe. I like the colors. And I like that the actual coastal things are in smaller pieces that can be removed/replaced/rotated, and not part of the bigger things like wallpaper, fabric etc.

Love coastal!

Just not a fan of drapes & I think the 3 tables are a bit large for the space.

Heck, I'll take it anyways .. Woman Wink

Having seen the whole house, I like how they picked a theme and stuck with it. Would I want that look? Absolutely not in my climate.

What is coastal about it?  The boat on the couch table & seashells?  I generally love coastal decor, but I'm not real keen on this one. perhaps if the blinds were open & we could see a beach, then my rating would go up.

32 pillows.

I just don't get it.

A couch that could sit 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 little ones is made to look un-seatable.  (Is that a word?)  Because it is now.

I can't get past the pillows in most rooms to notice the decor.

I know the homeowner (crazy pillow lady) is going for a soft, comfy, fluffy (poor birds) look, but I see eject buttons instead!

Sorry, I digressed big time.
